Cheesecake is a softspoken cat, born with poor vision and a heart rich with empathy in the industrious south of Kotemara. Easily overwhelmed around others, she ran away from home still as a kitten, burdened by the stress of living among so many siblings squabbling for their family's attention.

It was practically a miracle that she was found on her own by Starburst during one of the founder's foraging trips, at a time when Starswirl Sanctuary had only just gotten its own territory. But Cheesecake is nothing if not a lucky cat.

Quickly realizing the kitten's potential as a magician, due to her luck and perceptiveness, Maple, the original sanctuary's magician, took the young girl under her wing, taking her along suring errands to teach her magic and archery.

While often underestimated due to her poor eyesight, with her mentor's help, Cheesecake has grown to be a highly skilled ranger by relying on her other senses and her wealth of lucky streaks. Still, she prefers the quiet of her home and its peaceful gardens, where she's often found meditating or practicing her spells.

The now young woman is prone to getting sick, and can sometimes be seen needing a cane or staff's help to prop herself up, but despite never growing out of her solitary tendencies, she wholeheartedly loves the village which was raised alongside her. Others know to leave her alone when she needs, but she's a respected and integral part of Starswirl Sanctuary.
